David Bowie made peace with God before leaving Earth – on Twitter.
The rock-and-roll legend died Sunday after an 18-month battle with cancer, but before he passed at his London home, the last Twitter account Bowie followed was God.
“Just checked out who @DavidBowieReal last followed on Twitter,” tweeted Impartial Reporter journalist Rodney Edwards. “Go and have a look for yourself. He really was something else.”
@TheTweetOfGod, who has 2.23 million followers on Twitter, tweeted out support to Bowie following his death.

Two days before his 69th birthday, Bowie released a music video to “Lazarus,” a new track off his latest album, “Blackstar.” Bowie appears in the video lying in a hospital bed with his eyes bandaged.
