EAGLES SEASON ticketholders found out recently that Bird watching will be more expensive in 2017, as the team hiked prices for season tix for the first time since 2014.

The team said each season ticket increased by an average of $70. On Twitter, fans cited what they said were increases from $50 to $150 per seat.

The Eagles, 7-9 last season, haven’t made the playoffs since 2013 and haven’t won a playoff game since the 2008 season.

Meanwhile, Wednesday marks the first day teams can use the franchise or transition tags to keep players who are scheduled to become unrestricted free agents on March 9. The tagging period ends March 1. Bennie Logan is the only possible Eagles candidate, but the team is not expected to tag Logan, given its tight cap situation. The tag could affect several potential Eagles targets in free agency.
