MANCHESTER UNITED are ramping up the prices for some of their most expensive seats, according to reports.

The Mail on Sunday say corporate hospitality packages will be upped up to cover costs.

Prices were reduced during Louis van Gaal’s dismal reign but that is set to change.

With Jose Mourinho’s side providing a much improved style of football the Red Devils will be increasing packages by six per cent.

Old Trafford’s 25 different lounges range in price from £1,995 to a whopping £137,500 per game.

The average cost for a table of six will be £30,000 – a 20 per cent increase on prices from 2014/15.

United are one of the richest clubs on the planet but prices are going up due to the hyper inflation in the transfer market.

Boss Mourinho has hinted he will splash the cash in a big way at the end of the season.

He said: “We had just one transfer window, we didn’t use the second transfer window [in January].

“We need a big transfer window again. We have far to go.”
